On July 6, a delegation headed by Mr. Loh Tuck Wai, Singaporean Consul General to Shanghai, paid a courtesy visit to CELAP. Prof. Wang Jinding, Vice President of CELAP, met with the delegation. Mr. Liu Genfa, DDG of Department of International Exchange, also attended the meeting.
Prof. Wang warmly welcomed the guests and introduced CELAP’s features, training models and historical exchange with Singapore. He also explored working experience in leadership development in China and Singapore with the Consul General. He cited General Secretary XI Jinping’s words that the CPC and the Chinese people have the confidence to offer a “China Plan” for better social system of mankind. Mr. Loh Tuck Wai expressed thanks for the warm reception and his deep impression on CELAP’s innovative practice in leadership development programs. He also shared Singapore’s experience in talent selection, education and leadership training.
Mr. Loh Tuck Wai took office in March 2016 as Singapore's Consul General to Shanghai. Prior to that, he worked at the 3rd Department (Northeast Asian Affairs) of Policy Planning and Analysis, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, in charge of Chinese Affairs. He also worked as the Consul General of Singapore to Guangzhou.
